Judith Levy in her first cd Threads of Blue 18 Songs of the Jewish Experience brings together a classical and cantorial background. Judith's rich soprano weaves together with great artistry a collection of songs from sacred to modern, traveling from Eastern Europe to the Mediterranean, Israel and North America in Hebrew, English and Ladino.
Judith's repertoire extends from opera to folk music, spans eight languages and includes both religious and secular works. As a cantorial soloist she maintains a comprehensive knowledge of the Jewish worship service; as a trained opera singer she brings passion and vocal virtuosity to even the simplest tune.
In addition to performing and leading services, I teach vocal technique for life long
vocal health and strength.
As a Cantorial Soloist Judith is available to travel to add music to your event - Weddings, Bar/Bat Mitzvah service, Baby naming, Funerals/Memorial Services.
